expo-logo-colorThe Tour of the Gila presents the Downtown EXPO during the Criterium races on Saturday, May 7, in downtown Silver City, New Mexico – alongside the race course. This is the prime spectator day of the five day bicycle race. Craft, non-profit, and community vendors will be located in the Morning Star and Western Stationers parking lots along with the Food Court, Beer Garden, Kid’s Zone and live music. Race and team sponsors and bike industry vendors will be placed at prime locations along the race course, assigned by the EXPO organizers. The Silver City Museum will host a children’s area and the Kiwanis Club will sponsor the morning youth bicycle rodeo. The ever popular citizen races will happen in the middle of the day. Sign-up tent located near the start/finish line.




Spaces and Arrival:

Unloading will take place from 6:00 to 7:30 am, on May 7, after which vehicle access will not be allowed. Vendors should be ready for the public by 10:00 am and plan to stay until 6:00 pm. Vendors must supply their own tables, chairs, and canopies.




Vendors preparing food on-site will need a permit from NM Environment Department, 1302 E. 32nd Street, Silver City, 575-388-1934.
