LOCATION/FINDING US: Silver City is located in Southwest New Mexico, about 50 miles north of Interstate 10. From southern Arizona, take I-10 east to Lordsburg, NM, then take NM 90 north to Silver City (45 miles). From Texas take I-10 west to Deming, NM, and then take US180 north to Silver City (55 miles). From Colorado take I-25 south to
NM 152(Hillsboro), proceed 75 miles west on NM 152 and US 180 to Silver City.
AIRPORTS: There are several options when planning your flight to Silver City. The closest International airport is in El Paso, Texas-ELP (160 miles, 258 km). From there, you may rent a car or catch the Silver Stage Lines (800-522-0162). A second choice would be Tucson, Arizona-TUS (210 miles, 338 km) along with a car rental or special charter with the Silver City Stage Lines. Thirdly, you may fly into Albuquerque, New Mexico-ABQ (250 miles, 403 km) and rent a car. Another option is to fly from Phoeniz, Arizona-PHX to the Grant County Airport on Great Lakes Airlines-SVC.
