FOOD
PROGRAM:
The
Curious Kumquat, a SRAM Tour of the Gila Sponsor, will once again
be offering all-you-can-eat racing appropriate dinners. In 2009,
the Curious Kumquat staff fed over 150 racers each night with
healthy, high energy foods. This year, the staff will be selling
advanced tickets so each ticket holder will be guaranteed their
fill of food. For $30.00, racers will receive four all-you-can-eat
meals, water and tea included. The Curious Kumquat chef will work
with any team nutritionist to design appropriate meals. Please
contact the Curious Kumquat for more information at info@curiouskumquat.com
or 575-534-0337.
Shevek
& Co. Restaurant & Wine Bar, a 9 year sponsor of the SRAM
Tour of the Gila, is a Mediterranean restaurant emphasizing traditional
and fusion cuisines. This means that healthy foods are made from
scratch to order from the finest ingredients. They offer each
dish in three sizes, cooked with lean proteins, and each dish
is accompanied with vegetables, fruits or high quality starches.
They always feature dishes that are high protein and carbohydrate
during the Tour of the Gila. Please contact Shevek & Co. at
www.silver-eats.com or 575-534-9168. Reservations are highly recommended
since the dining room is small.
